News & Features

The News & Features link is found on your public home page under the Info tab. The content that shows on the public side under this link can be modified. This is a great place to add articles or any other special news you want to share with your customers.

  1. To add a new article, go to the News & Features menu on your management side located under the Dept Web Info menu
  2. Click on the Add New Article link
  3. Fill in the fields for Published By and enter a Publish Date
    1. Publish Date and Start on Site date are often the same, but they can be different - only the Publish Date text appears on the public side
      1. For instance, if you are sharing an article that was published October 1, 2023, lets say in your local newspaper, that is the Publish Date
        1. However, you just posted the article today on your MyRec.com public site, October 5, 2023, so that is the Start on Site Date
    2. The results will sort on your public page by the Publish Date
  4. Enter start on site and end on site dates
  5. Enter the title of your article in the news title field
  • You can also add a subtitle if you wish
  1. You can either copy and paste your article into the Article text box or type the article directly in it
  2. You can enter a photo by either choosing to upload a document from your computer or add a photo from the photo pool
  3. Enter an image caption if you uploaded a file from your computer
  4. Click Submit
