Registration invoices are timestamped by the creator, modifier, and date/time based on when the item moves through the carting and checkout process.

- The Created on timestamp is generated after a purchase moves from the cart to the payment screen
- For instance, on a management checkout, this happens after the disclaimer, questions, and forms are all completed
- The Modified on timestamp can be generated any time a change, update, payment, adjustment, etc…is made to the invoice
Let's take a look at the steps in the checkout process for more information.
- Here, I have added the item to my cart and am on the very next screen prompt. It is 5:42pm.
- This doesn't make a timestamp
- Now, I have completed all disclaimers, forms, and questions, which has moved me from the cart to the payment screen. It's 5:43pm.
- This does make a timestamp
- I selected Credit Card as my payment type, clicked Submit Payment, and am now on the credit card screen. It is 5:44pm.
- This does make a timestamp
Here is how the invoice timestamps reflect the steps from above.
- The Created on timestamp reflects when I left the cart and went to the payment screen. It's 5:43pm.
- The Modified on timestamp, in this example, reflects the last change to this invoice: the credit card payment screen at 5:44pm
